The shadows!

‘It was the middle of the night ,I was watching television in my room as I could not sleep.”I looked at the time and saw it was ten’o clock.I switched off the television and jumped onto my bed preparing to go to sleep.Suddenly,I saw dancing shadows outside my door.it felt very strange as the shadows were both very tiny.


I jumped out of my bed and headed for my parent’s room.Inside their room,I guickly woke them up and told them what was happening and about the shadows I saw.my father put his hand under the bed and pulled out a golf club.

As the wind howled,we braced ourselves and quietly ran towards the door.I sacredly opened the door and screamed.It was actually two mice scurrying around my neighbors doorstep.My dad dropped his golf club on his leg when I screamed.We called our neighbour to tell him about the rats the next day.

The next day we sent our father to the doctor and I was reprimanded for talking rubbish.I said to myself I would never do such things ever again
